Unlike the previous version (John Deere Service Advisor 4.2) to work with the application you need:

–   Internet Explorer 11 (The shell)
–   Last version of Adobe PDF reader (you will be asked to download the last version before the installation process begin)
–   Last version of Java runtime environment (you will be asked to download the last version before the installation process begin)
–   The heavy duty scanner John Deere SA v 5.2.529 has a more stable driver version. Sa works with any Windows 10 edition.
–   The latest version of the Database dataset 2019/05 + updates to 2020/02 has all the new models’ coverage and faster performance.

John Deere Service Advisor 5.2 System requirements:

– O.S.: Windows 7 Pro/Ultimate; Windows 8 Pro, Windows 8.1 Pro, Windows 10 Home/Pro
– CPU: Any CPU for Windows platform
– RAM: 8 GB of system memory

JD Service Advisor v5.2 support only Genuine JD EDL V3 DLA Adapter kit (The previous version V2 USB and BT is also supported). If you’re using any other diagnostics tool we do not make any warranties

The represented version of SA 5.2 allows you:

to start the offline version with an active internet connection
The license lasts for 3 years instead of 3 months
Windows 10 is fully supported by EDL v2/v3 kit

If this is your first time to use, please activate X100 PAD3 before you use it to test vehicles.
Remember to connect WIFI firstly.
It’s very easy to activate.
Just input the company name or mailbox, and the diagnostic application will start after activation.
Note: The selected type will be used as security certification.

Part 2: How to use X100 PAD3?
Press X100 PAD3 application icon and the main interface and sub-menus will appear on the screen. Here you can see:
Settings, XCloud, Diagnosis, Update, Report and Remote

Settings:
In this option, you can select the language, unit (Metric or British unit) and other system related options (my
workshop info, device S/N and APP version).

How to get remote assistance from Xtool Technical Assistance Center:
a. Open X100 PAD3
b. Click Remote and open the Team Viewer interface. Generate and display device ID.

OBDSTAR X300 DP Touch Buttons Not Working （solved）

What should you do when the touch button at the bottom of your OBDSTAR X300 DP PLUS key programmer (primary key dp) no longer responds / does not work?

This is probably due to the chip overheating and burning out.
1) Replace the x300dp touch screen with a new one
2) Without this line, you can still use it. Use the physical button on the right.
3) Obtain a USB wireless mouse.
